Frozen Mango Margarita Mocktail (Printable Version)

Frozen mango, lime, orange, and spice create a zesty, non-alcoholic drink—perfect for summer days.

# What You'll Need:

→ Mango Base

01 - 2 cups frozen mango chunks
02 - 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (approximately 4 limes)
03 - 1/4 cup orange juice
04 - 2 tablespoons agave syrup or honey
05 - 1/2 cup cold water, plus additional as needed
06 - 1 cup ice cubes

→ Garnishes

07 - Lime wedges, for rimming and garnish
08 - Coarse sea salt or Tajín seasoning, for rimming glass
09 - Mango slices, optional

# Directions:

01 - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each serving glass, then dip rims into coarse sea salt or Tajín seasoning to coat. Set glasses aside until use.
02 - Add frozen mango, freshly squeezed lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, cold water, and ice cubes to a blender.
03 - Blend mixture on high speed until smooth and slushy. If consistency is too thick, incorporate additional water, adding gradually for optimal texture.
04 - Conduct a taste check and adjust sweetness by blending in more agave syrup or honey as preferred.
05 - Transfer blended mango mixture into prepared glasses.
06 - Finish each glass with lime wedges and optional mango slices. Serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's a secret weapon for any afternoon when you crave something bright and zesty, but aren’t in the mood for a sugary soda.
  • The mango’s richness and spice on the rim turns every sip into a mini getaway, and there’s not a drop of alcohol to slow down the fun.
02 -
  • Once I skipped enough ice to make it "healthy," and ended up with thick mango puree, not a mocktail.
  • Blending too long makes the drink more watery—stop as soon as it’s smooth but still cold.
03 -
  • Let the mango thaw for a couple minutes before blending if your blender isn’t super-powered—it turns silky faster.
  • A dash of Tajín inside the blender wakes up flavors as much as it does on the rim.
